Diamonds in the Sky

Diamonds in the sky

Out at night with bats taking flight,

tiny shards in the sky 

they look like they can fly

I try to touch them

they’re too high

then I sigh 

I said a wish to the sky

the wish is that I could fly

then I reached again

I caught one, 

stars are beautiful 

like diamonds in the sky

.
